"Seems that while Cook County Board President Todd Stroger has been busy rolling back the sales tax, the Chicago Sun-Times discovered he wasn't paying his own personal taxes.

Turns out the Internal Revenue Service has put a lien on the home of Stroger and his wife, Jeanine, in an effort to pay off nearly $12,000 in unpaid incomes taxes, dating back to 2007."

Arlen Specter, who last week announced that he was going to become a Democratgot his reward Monday night, when Senate Democrats to live up to their part of the bargain and let him retain his seniority.A Democrat like Specter should have known not to trust another Democrat. But the damage is done. Hopefully, the Junior Senator from Pennsylvania gets beat in the primary.

Illinois Congresswoman admits what we already knew: President Obama is too smart to go the route Hillary Clinton did in trying to socialize the health care industry outright. He is simply going to force private health insurers out of business, thereby forcing everyone onto the government doles.
